Support North America Maintenance operations by reviewing and approving Tier 1 invoices below defined thresholds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and cost control, while acting as a validation layer leveraging financial and procurement criteria within the company.

Role responsibilities

- Review and validate Tier 1 invoices below defined thresholds (e.g., <$500), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for payment.

- Perform comparative analysis against predefined parameters, including BU averages, cost benchmarks, contract terms, and historical data.

- Validate that invoice charges are aligned with contracted rates, including labor, travel, and service costs.

- Review work order details to ensure correct asset classification and issue type alignment.

- Validate OT and Holiday charges, ensuring they meet high-priority criteria and approved rate structures.

- Ensure invoices are properly labeled and contain accurate and complete information before approval.

- Review previous work and historical data to ensure consistency and correctness in invoice approvals.





- Approve invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with financial controls and internal guidelines.

- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies, escalating when necessary.

- Apply financial and procurement criteria to assess invoice accuracy, impact, and reasonableness.

- Provide feedback and guidance to Tier 1 teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement in invoice processing.

Profile

- Technical degree or academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields (preferred).

- ~3 years of experience in invoice processing, Accounts Payable (AP), or procurement/finance operations.

- Equivalent hands-on experience in invoice processing, AP, or operational finance roles (Highly valued).

- Experience reviewing and validating financial or operational data, preferably within high-volume environments.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
