Financial Analyst | Accounting, Tax Compliance & Reporting

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a leading impact investment firm in Latin America with more than 20 years of experience mobilizing capital toward scalable social and environmental solutions. This is an opportunity to support the accounting and finance team, contribute to tax compliance and financial reporting, and help the organization grow together with its national and international partners.

This position reports to the Accounting Coordinator and works within the Finance & Administration department, supporting payments, financial reporting, audits, and documentation that keep the organization running smoothly.

What You’ll do

- Review, validate, and process invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendors and service providers
- Manage the accounting integration of validated tax invoices (CFDI), including cancellations, modifications, and monthly provisions, and track Electronic Payment Receipts (REP)
- Administer corporate cards, collect receipts, and allocate expenses correctly by project
- Monitor the SAT tax mailbox to accept or reject invoice cancellation requests
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain the group’s income and expense database

About the Team Our accounting team plays a key role in the organization’s growth, providing guidance on accounting and tax matters, reporting, audits, and the information our partners and stakeholders rely on. The team coordinates fund flow, financial reporting, and documentation that keeps every project moving forward, working closely with leadership across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting (experience at an accounting firm is a plus),



including exposure to audit processes
- Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (ideally COI or a similar ERP)
- Practical experience with Mexico’s SAT tax platform
- Strong knowledge of CFDI requirements for income, expense, payment, per diem, payroll, and foreign expense invoices
- Clear understanding of VAT (IVA) rates: standard, 0%, exempt, and not subject to tax
- Familiarity with tax regimes and withholdings for corporate and individual taxpayers (RESICO, professional fees, business activity)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
- Effective communication to clearly explain accounting records and findings

Nice to Have

- 2-4 Years of experience supporting external or annual audit processes
- Experience managing digital document control (e.g., Google Drive) to support accounting close processes
- Familiarity with keeping corporate tax documents up to date (Constancia de Situación Fiscal, compliance opinions, proof of compliance)
- Experience working with international partners or multi-project reporting
