We are looking for an General Accounting SR Analyst to join our Finance team and support accounting operations for Brazil. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records, performing financial analyses, supporting month-end close activities, and maintaining compliance with company policies and Brazilian accounting standards.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a multicultural environment with stakeholders across Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly accounting closing process.
- Prepare trial balances, management reports, and analytical spreadsheets.
- Perform accounting entries and reconciliations within SAP and other financial systems.
- Manage Fixed Assets activities, ensuring compliance with internal accounting guidelines.
- Support CAPEX analysis and asset capitalization reviews.
- Calculate and analyze depreciation expenses.
- Prepare and submit financial information and reports in Cognos.
- Coordinate and maintain close communication with outsourced accounting teams and external partners.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and balance sheet analyses.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Languages
✅ Portuguese: Advanced to Fluent (Mandatory)

✅ Spanish: Advanced
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Brazilian accounting operations.
- Knowledge of Fixed Assets accounting and CAPEX processes.
- Experience with Cognos reporting.
- Experience working in a Shared Services environment.
