The HR Operations & Payroll Manager will independently manage end-to-end payroll, HR operations, and expatriate employee administration for Geely Mexico. This role requires hands-on experience with Mexican payroll and IMSS systems, strong English communication skills, and the ability to build structured HR documentation, SOPs, checklists, and knowledge libraries.

Key Responsibilities

1、Independently manage the full payroll cycle, including payroll inputs, calculation, validation, approval, bank payment coordination, payslips, and payroll records.

2、 Operate Mexican payroll and IMSS-related systems, including IDSE, SUA, and SIPARE, and manage employee registrations, terminations, salary base changes, and statutory contributions.

3、Support expatriate employees throughout the assignment lifecycle, including work visas, residence permits, CURP, RFC, bank accounts, local onboarding, Shadow Payroll, renewals, and repatriation.

4、 Manage daily HR operations, including onboarding, employee data, personnel files, attendance, leave, salary changes, benefits, and offboarding.

5、 Develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, workflows, RACI matrices, checklists, templates, trackers, and internal HR knowledge bases.

6、Coordinate with HQ HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, immigration agents, payroll vendors, and other service providers.

7、Support internal audits, government inspections, payroll peak periods, and urgent HR operational matters.

Qualifications





Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

6–8 years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, or a related function.

Proven experience independently managing the complete Mexican payroll cycle.

Hands-on experience with payroll systems and IMSS platforms, including IDSE, SUA, and SIPARE.

Practical experience managing expatriate employees, immigration processes, and international payroll coordination.

Strong understanding of Mexican payroll, IMSS, CFDI payroll receipts, ISR, INFONAVIT, statutory benefits, and termination settlements.

Demonstrated experience creating structured HR documentation, SOPs, process maps, checklists, or knowledge-management systems.

Advanced Excel and strong data reconciliation skills.

Language Requirements

Fluent Spanish.

Strong professional English, both written and spoken.

Chinese is an advantage but not required.
