Job Title: Data Governance Analyst (Informatica)
Location: Remote, Mexico
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain Informatica CDGC and AXON data governance platforms.
- Develop and manage enterprise data governance frameworks, standards, policies, and stewardship workflows.
- Configure and maintain data quality rules, rule specifications, profiling, continuous monitoring, scorecards, and quality dashboards using CDQ/IDQ.
- Manage enterprise data catalogs, including catalog sources, scanners, technical metadata, business metadata, classification, and curation.
- Establish and maintain end-to-end data lineage across databases, ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, and Databricks environments.
- Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, architects, and business stakeholders to define data standards and quality requirements.
- Support business glossary and data domain management using AXON and contribute to the AXON-to-CDGC modernization path.
- Govern Databricks Lakehouse environments by aligning Unity Catalog metadata, classification, and lineage with Informatica CDGC.
- Integrate governance and data discovery capabilities with privacy tools such as OneTrust, including PII discovery and data classification.
- Apply CLAIRE AI capabilities to accelerate data quality rule creation, metadata classification, business glossary development, and policy documentation.
- Ensure governance processes support data privacy, regulatory compliance, traceability, and audit requirements.
- Work with cloud and data engineering teams across Azure, AWS, and Databricks environments.
- Support the continuous improvement of data governance, metadata management, and data quality processes.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC).
- Experience with Metadata Command Center, catalog sources, scanners, metadata management, classification, curation, dashboards, and Data Marketplace.
- Strong experience with Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) and/or Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
- Expertise in:
- Data profiling
- Data quality rule definition
- Rule specifications
- Continuous quality monitoring
- Data quality scorecards
- Experience with AXON Data Governance, including:
- Business glossary
- Data domains
- Data stewardship
- Governance workflows
- Strong understanding of data lineage, metadata management, data classification, and data governance frameworks.
Preferred Skills
- Databricks Unity Catalog and Lakehouse governance.
- Integration of Databricks metadata and lineage with CDGC.
- OneTrust, including Data Discovery and PII classification.
- CLAIRE GPT, CLAIRE Copilot, or other Informatica AI-assisted governance capabilities.
- Experience with MDM SaaS or Reference 360.
- Exposure to Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
- Experience with AWS services such as Glue Data Catalog, Lake Formation, and Redshift.
- Knowledge of Collibra and Monte Carlo.
- Understanding of DAMA-DMBOK principles.
- Experience working in regulated environments involving GDPR, financial data, privacy, or compliance requirements.
Preferred Certifications
- Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog Professional Certification (ICP) – highly preferred.
- Informatica CDGC Foundation / IDMC Foundation certification.
- CDMP – Certified Data Management Professional (DAMA).
- Databricks certification related to Unity Catalog or Data Governance.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203).
