Job objective:

Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, reduce costs and cycle times, and support new model introductions and engineering changes while ensuring process and quality requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

- Update process documentation for new model introductions, engineering changes, and process changes, including their issuance in PT.
- Create and update 2D AutoCAD drawings.
- Conduct time and motion studies and implement improvements to reduce cycle times and the required headcount.
- Support DOE (Design of Experiments) activities and document process capability results.
- Maintain the plant layout up to date, and coordinate and support the implementation of layout and distribution changes.
- Collaborate in process improvement and optimization initiatives, primarily focused on cost reduction.
- Perform Level 2 process audits and participate in Tier 2, APQP, and FMEA meetings/audits.
- Analyze plant productivity and develop improvement proposals.
- Participate in the implementation of 5S and Core Tools.

Requirements:





- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Automotive or related field.
- Proven experience in the automotive industry, preferably in automotive leather manufacturing.
- Experience in Industrial or Process Engineering.
- Knowledge of automotive leather manufacturing processes is preffered.
- Knowledge of Core Tools, including FMEA and Control Plan.
- Intermediate English.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Customer and/or supplier relations.
- Negotiation and service-oriented skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Innovation and Improvement focus.
