- Deep Java application performance engineering experience

- Strong WebSphere and WebLogic diagnostic skills

- JVM profiling, garbage collection analysis, heap dumps and thread dumps

- Application-level structured logging and correlation ID implementation

- Distributed tracing across applications, APIs and downstream dependencies

- Hands-on experience with Datadog, New Relic, or similar APM tools

- Oracle performance diagnostics, including SQL execution plans, AWR and ASH

- JDBC connection pools, application thread pools and session management

- API latency, timeout, retry and dependency failure analysis

- Browser-to-backend transaction tracing

- Real User Monitoring and frontend error analysis

- Network, proxy, load balancer and TLS troubleshooting

- Experience tracing transactions across legacy or partially instrumented platforms
