As a Senior Research Analyst, you will act as the "steward" and primary owner of assigned jurisdictions across the Americas. You will lead end-to-end qualitative research, conduct high-level interviews with senior legal practitioners, analyze market submissions, and transform complex qualitative/quantitative data into authoritative rankings, market reports, and industry awards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualitative Research & Analysis: Gather and evaluate complex law firm submissions, client feedback, and survey data using a structured 3-step research methodology.
- Executive Interviewing: Conduct primary research interviews with C-level executives, law firm partners, and senior legal practitioners in English.
- Data Synthesis & Reporting: Clean, organize, and analyze large volumes of qualitative and quantitative market data using Excel and internal research databases.
- Market Ownership: Take full autonomy over your assigned jurisdictions/practice areas, tracking industry developments, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- General Collaboration: Work closely with international research managers, customer success, and regional leads across the UK, US, and APAC.
Must-Haves (Non-negotiable):
- Location: Based in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area (CDMX / Estado de México).
- English Proficiency: C1/C2 Advanced/Fluent written and spoken English (all stakeholder interviews, reports, and internal workflows are conducted in English).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience conducting primary qualitative interviews and building professional relationships with C-level executives, senior stakeholders, or industry leaders.
- Analytical Capabilities: Strong market research, competitive intelligence, or journalism background with high attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data cleaning, formulas, Pivot Tables).
- Schedule Alignment: Ability to work Americas-aligned business hours (~8 AM – 5 PM CDMX time).
- Mindset: Self-starter, proactive, team player, with zero-ego and high intellectual curiosity.
Strong Preferences (Pluses):
- Spanish Fluency: Heavily preferred for local market context and regional engagement.
- Portuguese Fluency: A major advantage due to heavy market coverage in Brazil.
- Experience: 3–5+ years in Market Research, B2B Journalism, Competitive Intelligence, PR, or KPO/LPO environments.
