Permit & Production Manager
Company: Gamma
Gamma is seeking a detail-oriented Permit & Production Manager to own the administrative and production flow of each project from signed contract through installation, closeout, and funding. This person will keep jobs moving, maintain accurate documentation, coordinate with customers and sales representatives, and resolve obstacles before they cause delays.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
- Manage each job from contract submission through final completion and funding.
- Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Coordinate with customers, sales representatives, installers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule.
- Identify delays, missing documents, and approval issues; take ownership of resolving them.
- Keep project records and status updates accurate in Gamma’s project management system.
Customer & Sales Representative Contracts
- Review customer contracts and sales representative paperwork for completeness, accuracy, and required signatures.
- Obtain missing documents, corrections, change orders, and other information needed to move a job forward.
- Keep customers and representatives informed of project progress, requirements, and next steps.
Permitting & City Registration
- Prepare, submit, and track permit applications and supporting documents.
- Register Gamma with cities, counties, and other permitting authorities, maintaining required renewals and documentation.
- Coordinate plans, engineering documents, revisions, and responses to permit review comments.
- Track permit approvals,
expiration dates, inspections, and final signoffs.
Utility Interconnection & HOA Approvals
- Prepare, submit, and track utility interconnection applications and related documentation.
- Coordinate utility requirements, corrections, and permission to operate, where applicable.
- Prepare and submit HOA applications, obtain required customer signatures, and follow through until approval.
Production & Installation Support
- Confirm that contracts, permits, approvals, materials, and other prerequisites are ready before scheduling installation.
- Coordinate installation schedules with production teams and customers.
- Track installation progress, inspections, punch-list items, and any remaining work through completion.
- Collect completion photos, inspection results, warranties, and other closeout documents.
Funding & Project Closeout
- Prepare and submit funding packages, milestone requests, and completion documentation to financing partners.
- Verify that funding requirements are met and resolve rejected or incomplete submissions.
- Track funding status and follow up with financing partners and internal teams until disbursement is confirmed.
- Ensure each project is fully documented and closed out, with all outstanding requirements addressed.
Qualifications
- Experience in project coordination, permitting, production administration, or construction operations; solar or home improvement experience preferred.
- Familiarity with permitting portals, utility interconnection processes, HOA submissions, and financing documentation is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active projects at different stages.
- Clear, professional communication with customers, sales representatives, municipalities, utilities, and financing partners.
- Strong attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, project management software, spreadsheets, and document management tools.
What Success Looks Like
- Jobs move efficiently from signed contract to completion and funding.
- Applications and funding packages are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Customers, representatives, and production teams receive timely updates.
- Delays are identified early and actively resolved.
- Every job has a clear status, next step, responsible party, and target date.
This role owns the follow-through required to move every Gamma job from start to finish. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16,221.76 - $32,443.53 per month
