About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead the ramp-up and growth of a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in San Luis Potosí. This executive leadership role will have full responsibility for plant operations, driving performance across production, quality, supply chain, engineering, EHS, and people development. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a growing operation while building a high-performance team in a integral manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ramp-up, stabilisation, and expansion of the manufacturing operation.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Oversee production, quality, supply chain,
engineering, EHS, and HR functions.
- Develop and mentor high-performing leadership teams across the organisation. ¿
- Manage plant budgets, profitability, and overall business performance.
- Foster a team of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational discipline.
- Build strong relationships with customers, corporate leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Support long-term growth through talent development, innovation, and process optimisation.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience within automotive and/or lighting manufacturing environments
- 5+ years of experience leading a plant as Plant Manager or equivalent.
- Proven track record managing complex manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience working with international organisations; exposure to Asian manufacturing companies is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and people development skills.
