Role Description The Gerente de calidad (Quality Manager) is a full-time, on-site role based in Jesús María, AGU, responsible for overseeing and improving all quality assurance and quality control activities related to concrete production and delivery. This position manages the implementation and maintenance of quality standards, procedures, and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and client specifications. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring production processes, supervising laboratory testing and material inspections, identifying nonconformities, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with operations and technical teams.

The role also involves training personnel on quality practices, analyzing performance data and KPIs, and collaborating with management to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.



The Gerente de calidad works closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Experience in quality management or quality assurance in construction materials, concrete, or related industrial production environments.
- Experience in mix design , control and optimization of 100+mixes
- Knowledge of quality standards, testing methods, and regulatory requirements relevant to concrete production and construction (e.g., national norms, lab procedures, inspection protocols).
- Strong skills in process analysis, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Ability to lead and develop teams, provide training on quality practices, and collaborate effectively with production, logistics, and management personnel.
- Competence in data analysis, use of quality KPIs, and preparation of clear reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic on-site environment.
- Relevant technical or engineering degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations in industrial or construction settings; experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., ISO systems, Lean, or similar) is an advantage. Lo
