About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in partnership with a leading US public sector tech provider. In this role, you will help modernize digital government services—covering tax solutions, civic services, and public records—by ensuring product quality, seamless user experience, and robust test coverage across multiple product lines.

Key Responsibilities

- Test Strategy & Execution: Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and regression test suites across various product lines and dependencies.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps to ensure swift resolution by engineering teams.
- User-Centric Validation: Evaluate features from various end-user perspectives to validate business logic, system messaging, and overall user experience.
- Documentation & Enablement: Create and update comprehensive internal testing documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Impact Analysis: Quickly assess system dependencies to identify potential risk areas affected by new feature releases or updates.





Key Skills & Qualifications

- Fast Learner: Ability to rapidly grasp complex business logic, system architecture, and workflows across diverse product lines.
- QA & Regression Testing: Hands-on experience compiling regression tests and mapping out system dependencies.
- Bug Tracking & Reporting: Strong ability to write clear, actionable defect reports and build test cases from identified bugs.
- User-First Mindset: Talent for evaluating software from the viewpoint of various user roles and personas.
- Technical Communication: Skill in reviewing system messaging, providing feedback on validation text, and writing clear user documentation.
