POSITION OBJECTIVE

- The Quality Director is responsible of the Quality processes to achieve the right quality at the lowest cost and at the right time. This also includes the involvement in new products/projects development, the participation on discussions with Product and Project teams and the identification of solutions for delivering additional volumes. The scope includes the development of the strategies and execution of the strategies, the process quality and proactive and reactive quality process based on network feedback

Role & Responsabilities

- Create a working environment that prevents accident and reduce risks for the employees while ensuring operation legal compliance.
- Generate an innovative environment to motivate the team members.

- Leader that develop leaders & team members while promoting collaboration and operation excellence in a fast pace environment.
- Evaluate team and area opportunities to improve the efficiency of the quality department.
- Ensure overall product quality in meeting the company standards.

- Participate to the new product introduction and development activities for products manufactured on-site, in relation to Planning/Logistics strategies in full collaboration with the Production team.
- Participate with vehicle engineering in the development of products from a supplier selection standpoint and supplier quality process development.
- Participate in establishing budget and resource planning, and then control department cost to meet financial objectives (overhead, direct labor, capital expenditures, Inventory accuracy etc.).

- With the quality team, participate in the creation of the 3-5 years strategic plan for his / her department, supporting the overall site & company strategic plan & mission.
- Active contribution in the design of the layout and Quality processes of the production capacity increase projects.
- Ensure collaboration and enthusiasm with other company functions in interaction with their teams and participate actively in technology vigilance for manufacturing system & processes.





- In charge of QMS system certification, performance of laboratories and Quality Experts for continuos improvements activities like problem solving and PFMEA.
- Cooperate with integral standardization activities
- Support local Rotax supplier quality team (not reporting directly).

- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned based on organization needs.
- Follow BRP values and behaviors
- Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics

- Enforce Quality BRP policy.

Qualifications

- Bachelor: Engineering degree or other relevant area with experience in Quality management for assembly type of operations, minimum 10 years of experience in high volume operations.
