Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (QE) with strong expertise in test automation using Playwright and hands-on experience in the Payments/FinTech domain . The idóneo candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of payment applications and platforms.

The candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other QA professionals in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright .
- Build scalable and maintainable automation frameworks for web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate payment workflows, transactions, and related business processes.
- Identify, analyze, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and release validation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines .
- Analyze test results and provide clear reporting on defects, risks, and overall product quality.




- Continuously improve test coverage, automation reliability, and testing efficiency.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience working as a Quality Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or similar role .
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
- Strong understanding of UI/Web automation testing .
- Experience with Payments, Payment Processing, FinTech, Digital Payments, or Payment Gateway applications.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with API testing and validation.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Git/version control .
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript .
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and tools such as Postman.
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
- Familiarity with SQL/database validation.
- Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Previous experience working on high-volume or mission-critical payment systems.
