Overview
The Revenue Manager is responsible for identifying and maximizing all potential revenue opportunities for the hotel. In today’s lodging environment, understanding channel and yield management is critical for maximizing revenues.
The Revenue
Manager is responsible for formulating long and short-term Revenue Management strategies and for overseeing their successful execution towards the advancement of RevPAR market share. This includes the analysis of revenue potential generated by the transient and group market segments as well as the market segmentation within transient and group.

Responsibilities
- Minimum 4 years hotel experience in a management position
- Strategic, proactive leader willing to take risks
- Experience with Revenue Management platforms: One Yield, GRO, Hotelligence, Marsha, OnQ R&I;
- Familiar with a hotel revenue budget and revenue segmentation strategies
- Able to provide hands-on leadership to facilitate revenue meetings and hotel strategy meetings
- Strategic thinker with transient and group segments
- Able to analyze, understand and interpret sales/revenue reports for our hotels
- Familiar with eSales/eTools
- Familiar with rational pricing, local accounts, national accounts, RFP process and GDS systems
- Experience in PMS systems: OnQ and/or FOSSE
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to actively participate and understand the sales effort of the hotels and establish relationships with the hotel’s key accounts national account directors
- Ability to identify problems and implement or recommend solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well across multiple hotels
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in the Revenue Management field as manager or senior analyst
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel or Hospitality Management or closely related field preferred
- In-Depth knowledge of all industry reports such as STR, Hotelligence, Market Vision, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- Ability to work quickly in a high-pressure & high stress environment
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Excellent time management skills
- Exceptional with details and follow up
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Perform other duties as requested by management
