We are seeking We're seeking a Senior Editor to be the craft-and-consistency engine behind the company's branded and social video. You'll take briefs—sometimes polished, sometimes half-formed—and turn them into finished edits that look and feel unmistakably us, delivered on time and at a quality ceiling the team can count on every single time.

Adobe Premiere is your home base: you'll own the edit from string-out to final export, shaping the story, pacing every cut, and making the editorial calls that separate technically clean work from content that genuinely stops the scroll. You're the person who can run with an underdeveloped brief and fill the gaps with sound judgment instead of stalling for direction, who keeps every project file, version, and hand-off meticulously organized, and who raises the bar on complex, multi-deliverable projects where storytelling matters as much as execution. Bonus points if you bring motion graphics, color, and a native feel for how content should land on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

What You'll Do

- Branded & Social Editing: Cut high-quality branded and social video from brief to final delivery in Adobe Premiere—owning story, pacing, sound design, and export across formats.
- Editorial Judgment:



Make the storytelling and structural calls on complex, multi-deliverable projects, shaping raw footage into narratives that hold attention rather than cuts that are merely technically clean.
- Independent Brief Execution: Take briefs of any maturity—including ambiguous or underdeveloped ones—and run with them independently, filling gaps with sound editorial judgment instead of stalling for direction.
- Consistent, On-Deadline Delivery: Hold a reliable, high-quality ceiling on every edit while hitting deadlines consistently across multiple concurrent projects.
- File Management & Project Hygiene: Maintain disciplined naming conventions, versioning, and organized project files and hand-offs so any edit can be picked up, revised, or archived without friction.
- Brand Consistency: Edit within (and client/agency) brand style guides so every deliverable looks and sounds unmistakably on-brand.
- Multi-Platform Delivery: Master and export to correct social delivery specs across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube—aspect ratios, durations, captions, and safe zones.
- Motion & Color (as needed): Add basic motion graphics in After Effects (titles, transitions, simple animations) and grade in Lumetri or DaVinci Resolve to finish deliverables.
- Creative Feedback: Give and receive constructive creative feedback, iterating quickly and cleanly through revision rounds.

What You Need

- 5+ years of professional editing experience, with a reel that includes branded and/or social video work for real clients (reel review required).
- Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro proficiency—confident across editing, audio, and multi-format export (verified through direct technical questioning in the interview).




- Strong narrative and storytelling instincts—able to shape footage into a story and clearly articulate the editorial decisions behind every cut.
- Proven ability to work independently from a brief with minimal day-to-day oversight, including navigating ambiguous or underdeveloped briefs.
- Disciplined file management and project hygiene—clear naming conventions, versioning systems, and organized project files.
- Familiarity with music and audio licensing best practices and ability to choose appropriate music and SFX for edits from our approved music/SFX library.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines simultaneously without a drop in quality.
- Daily overlap with core PST / LA HexQuarters hours.
- Motion graphics capability in Adobe After Effects—basic titles, transitions, and simple animations is a plus.
- Color grading experience in Lumetri Color or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Prior experience working within client or agency brand style guides is a plus.
- Working knowledge of social platform delivery specs across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to give and receive constructive creative feedback is a plus.
- Must have Apple-based hardware capable of handling 4K ProRes HQ footage and high-speed internet able to download /upload quickly (at least M1 Pro or M2 Mac with at least 32GB RAM and
- 2TB hard drive space, plus 100Mbps-download/50Mbps-upload internet speeds).
- Love of food and cooking is a plus, though not required to thrive in the role.
