Job Title: Technical Engineer Contractor
Location: Remote, Mexico
Employment Type: Contract
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Technical Engineer Contractor to join a leading project team in the engineering sector. In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions, conducting system integration and testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve user experiences with AdventHealth-managed devices.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support in engineering solutions development and maintenance.
- Design and develop solutions to address complex engineering problems.
- Conduct system integration, testing, and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system functionality.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance.
- Analyze endpoint health and performance using DEX platforms to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes and automation.
- Produce clear, data-backed recommendations and communicate insights to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Build and expand the operating model and playbook for this capability across regions.
- Provide weekly reports detailing action plans and metrics for tracking progress and impact.
Requirements
- Strong SRE fundamentals applied to the endpoint/digital workplace domain.
- Hands-on expertise with DEX tooling (Lakeside SysTrack or similar tools).
- Practical experience with modern Microsoft endpoint stack: Intune, Entra, and cloud-native/cloud-managed device management.
- Demonstrated ability to correlate operational data into actionable insight and automation.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical details into a clear narrative for CIOs and senior leaders.
- A genuine affinity for data and for building things, paired with leadership presence.
- Comfort operating on the day shift while collaborating across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Scripting/automation and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Exposure to large-scale fleet, printer, and mobile-device management.
- Prior experience scaling a DEX or endpoint-reliability practice across multiple regions.
