Test Engineer

Description:

Responsible for developing, implementing, validating, and maintaining equipment and test systems used to ensure the quality and conformity of Hussmann's products and processes. The position works in conjunction with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and external suppliers to define requirements, select or develop test solutions, perform their implementation in the plant, and ensure their reliability and availability

Main Responsibilities:

2. Analyze the testing needs of Manufacturing and Quality processes, including NPI and current processes and define technical solutions that allow verifying the conformity of the product or process.
3. Define the technical requirements and specifications for new test equipment, participating in the selection and technical evaluation of suppliers.
4. Design, develop and implement test equipment and systems,



either internally or through specialized suppliers, coordinating their manufacture, installation, programming and commissioning.
5. Program and integrate control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, measuring instruments, data acquisition systems, and safety devices.
6. Validate and ensure the performance of test equipment, verifying that it provides reliable, repeatable and traceable results, as well as participating in its improvement and updating.
7. Maintain the technical documentation and maintenance of the equipment, including programs, parameters, configurations, electrical diagrams and manuals, ensuring the availability of the necessary information for its operation and maintenance.

Requirements:

- 100% Bilingual (Spanish – English)
- Bachelor’s degree on engineering
- +5 years of experience
- Industrial Automation, PLC programing (Allen Bradely, Siemens)
- Able to program using Visual Basic, C++.
