WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Americas HR Operations team in Mexico City, one of the regional hubs within our Integral HR Operations function. The team supports scalable HR operations for Bain offices across the Americas, with a focus on process standardization and centralization to support Bain’s continued growth and maintain our position as a great place to work.
In this role, you’ll work closely with employees, local Program Management teams, Training Officers, and our Global Training team to coordinate training activities across the offices you support. Because many of these relationships will be remote, your ability to build strong working relationships across locations will be essential.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Coordinator, Americas HR Operations, you’ll own the delivery of specified HR activities and processes for your assigned offices, with a primary focus on serving as a Training Liaison .
This is a varied, deadline-driven role that requires exceptional organization, time management, accuracy, and attention to detail. You’ll work independently while collaborating with colleagues across locations and balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
You’ll quickly develop an understanding of our systems and processes, how they work together, and how your work affects employees and other stakeholders. You’ll also have opportunities to recognize patterns, develop creative solutions, and identify process improvements that benefit the team and its customers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Your responsibilities will include
- Administer Training Liaison activities based on policies and training calendars established by the Global Training team
- Coordinate with employees, local Program Management teams,
and the Global Training team to identify training participants and trainers
- Consider participant and trainer conflicts and preferences to create accurate and evenly distributed session assignments
- Communicate session information, fees, and logistics to attendees in a timely manner
- Manage trainer and participant cancellations, swaps, and deferments, working with Program Management teams and Training Officers to obtain approvals and identify replacements
- Communicate trainer and participant confirmations, updates, and cancellations to the Global Training team
- Escalate concerns or changes to the Global Training team and/or Program Management teams in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training tracking information and historical training data
ABOUT YOU
- You have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- You have 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in an administrative HR role
- You are proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word and have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- You have experience working in a demanding environment, preferably within professional services or a blue-chip company in an administrative capacity
- You are comfortable working through ambiguity
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can adapt your communication style to different audiences
- You have previous experience using HRIS systems; Workday experience is a plus
- You can appropriately handle highly confidential information
- You can effectively manage your time and balance competing business priorities
- You communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
- You bring exceptional attention to detail and strong organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
- You are self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working on your own initiative
- You bring a flexible, collaborative approach to working with a team
- You are diplomatic and understand the importance of confidentiality
- You work efficiently and accurately, including under pressure
- You are enthusiastic, dedicated, hardworking, and committed to meeting deadlines
- You have an interest in the substance and commercial impact of Bain’s work
- This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week at our Polanco office in Mexico City.
