we are looking for an accountant / office administrator to manage accounting, tax compliance, license renewals, and general office administration for our mexico office in santa fe.
key responsibilities:
client relationship management
- manage and strengthen relationships with key clients.
- act as the primary point of contact, understanding client requirements and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
business development
- identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and existing client relationships.
operations management
- manage day-to-day business operations and ensure efficient execution of processes.
- handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- ensure compliance with mexican tax regulations (vat/iva, isr, payroll taxes, etc.).
- coordinate tax filings with external accountants and government authorities (sat).
- track and manage business license, permit, and registration renewals.
- support payroll processing and employee administration.
- manage office operations, vendors, facilities, and administrative requirements.
requirements:
- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and office administration.
- good knowledge of mexican taxation and compliance requirements.
- experience with payroll, license renewals, and vendor management.
- proficiency in microsoft office and accounting software.
- spanish and english communication skills preferred.
