Position Summary – Project LeaderTheProject Leaderis responsible for theend-to-end management of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects , ensuring successful delivery in terms oftiming, cost, and qualitywithin an automotive manufacturing environment.This role leads the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects using structured methodologies such asAPQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) , ensuring compliance with industry standards includingIATF *****, VDA, and customer-specific requirements.Core ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinatecross-functional teams(engineering, quality, production, supply chain, etc.) throughout the full project lifecycle.Develop, maintain, and controlproject timelines (timing plans) , ensuring milestones are achieved.Manageproject resources and budget , balancing cost efficiency with performance targets.Drive execution ofAPQP deliverables , including:PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)Control PlansPPAP (Production Part Approval Process)Process Flow DiagramsMonitor and reportKPIsrelated to project performance (quality, delivery, cost).
Act as themain point of contact with customers , ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.Identify risks, leadproblem-solving activities (8 D methodology) , and escalate critical issues to management when needed.Ensure compliance withquality, environmental, and safety regulations ,
including ISO ***** and internal policies.Capture and sharelessons learnedto improve future project execution.Technical Knowledge & Expertise RequiredStrong understanding ofautomotive core tools :APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPCExperience inplastic injection molding processesand related secondary operations such as:Painting, printing, laser engraving, and finishing processesAbility to interpret:Technical drawings and GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Process documentation and quality standardsKnowledge ofmanufacturing environments and production constraintsFamiliarity withproject planning tools(e.g., MS Project) and tracking systemsUnderstanding ofbudget control and financial impact of projectsKey CompetenciesStrongleadership and coordinationskills in cross-functional environmentsExcellentcommunication skillsat all organizational levels (shop floor to customer)High level ofdecision-making and problem-solving capabilityAbility to managemultiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrongorganizational skills and attention to detailHighsense of urgency and accountability for resultsProfile RequirementsBachelor's degree inEngineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field)3–5 years of experiencein project management within manufacturing or automotive industryEnglish:Conversational to advanced level (customer interaction required)Project Management certification ( desirable )
