Position Summary

The Director, Production is responsible for leading all production operations within a manufacturing location, including both back shop and assembly operations. This role is focused on building a world-class lean organization that enhances profitability, improves responsiveness to customer orders, and develops a high-performing production team. Reporting directly to the Director, Plant Operations, the Director, Production will drive operational excellence, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure that production systems deliver on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering, business, or related field




- Experience with union relations or strong employee engagement practices
- Advanced knowledge of Lean or other continuous improvement systems
- Proven ability to develop talent and build succession plans

Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing engineering or production operations, preferably in heavy assembly or automotive industries
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated success in strategic leadership while remaining hands-on in operations
