You Are

UST is seeking a Server Lab Technician with hands-on experience in computer systems, electronic component inspection, hardware rework, functional testing, and adherence to client and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.



The technician will de supporting the client from Monday to Friday and requires availability to travel 25% of the time.

The Opportunity

Responsible for supporting semiconductor and server platform validation activities, performing hardware testing, debugging, inspection, and quality verification of electronic systems.
Provide technical support for equipment deployed at customer locations.
Perform visual inspection, functional testing, and validation of electronic assemblies and systems.
Debug hardware and system-level issues in server and computer platforms.
Conduct inspection and verification activities in compliance with IPC-A-610 standards and client´s workmanship requirements.
Perform electronic component testing, replacement, and rework activities including: Surface Mount Devices (SMD) Through-Hole Components Ball Grid Array (BGA) Components Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot functional test equipment used during validation activities.
