Description
POSITION SUMMARY
- A Value Stream Leader or Production Supervisor will be responsible for the overall safety, health, environment, quality, service, cost productivity, and employee morale of assigned department. The Production Supervisor serves as a liaison to management on manufacturing, quality, process and engineering related issues. Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, assemblers, fabricators, machine, tool setters, test and other plant and system operators. A successful Supervisor can anticipate and adapt to change and make the required adjustments to schedules. A successful Supervisor promotes two-way communication, fosters organization culture and values, assess operators’ performance and develop them, and seeks for continues improvement in his/hers work area.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capable to manage a new product line or participate in product transfer projects.
- Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify areas for improvement,



and report on departmental performance to management.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as assembly, inspectors, machines and fabricators.
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Maintain capacity plans to meet or changes as required.
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
- Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures or assign employee training to experienced workers.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.
