Plant Nurse
Location: On site – Juarez, Nuevo Leon

BASIC
FUNCTION

Provides
professional nursing care to associates as individual situations arise, in
accordance with Mexican law. Educates associates on health promotion and
maintenance. Assists physicians with necessary procedures. Coordinates
effectively with other shifts to ensure continuity of care, maintains positive
relationships with other departments, and participates in all phases of
education, record-keeping, and the updating of policies and procedures.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Meets medical service objectives applicable to the position.
2. Administers professional nursing care to associates based on individual
situations and in compliance with Mexican regulations. Maintains a record of
all activities.
3. Provides an appropriate emergency response to injuries occurring within the
facility.
4. Provides health education to associates through periodic coverage of health
topics.
5. Skillfully and correctly administers medications prescribed by physicians.
6. Keeps the Supervisor informed regarding patients, needs,



and issues within
the medical service.
7. Participates in staff orientation, training, and management for new
employees; provides training for emergency medical technicians, Basic Life
Support classes, and optimal health care advice.
8. Maintains an inventory of medications and supplies; sterilizes equipment and
supplies as needed.
9. Offers care-related guidance, identifies problems, and directs staff toward
solutions.
10. Evaluates the work environment to identify potential or presente health
issues.

EDUCATION
AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
Registered Nurse with a current license to practice nursing in Mexico.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational health.
TRAINING: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software applications preferred.
