Position Summary

Parker is looking for an Automation Trainee to join our manufacturing team and support the development and implementation of industrial automation projects. This role is idóneo for students in their final semesters or recent graduates who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in automation, robotics, controls, and continuous improvement within a global manufacturing environment.

The Automation Trainee will support the development, implementation, and follow-up of industrial automation projects within manufacturing areas. This role will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Safety, and external suppliers to support the integration of automated solutions that improve process efficiency, reduce operational risks, enhance employee safety, and strengthen plant productivity.

During the trainee program, the selected candidate will gain hands-on experience in industrial automation systems, robotics, controls, sensors, actuators, process analysis,



and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

- Support the implementation of industrial automation projects in production areas.
- Assist in the installation, integration, testing, and start-up of automated cells and robotic equipment.
- Participate in the analysis of current processes to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
- Follow up on activities related to sensors, actuators, control systems, industrial robots, and peripheral equipment.
- Support functional testing, operation validations, and technical adjustments of automated equipment.
- Prepare and update technical documentation related to automation projects, including layouts, diagrams, progress reports, and lessons learned.
- Coordinate basic project activities with suppliers, Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Safety teams.
- Contribute to compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement standards.
- Support the identification and reduction of operational risks for production operators.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities and failure analysis under supervision.
- Provide basic training support to users or operators on new automated systems, when required.

Qualifications

Qualifications

- Recent graduate in Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience.
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation.
- Basic knowledge of industrial robotics.
- Ability to interpret electrical,



pneumatic, or mechanical diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Basic understanding of industrial safety in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of technical design or documentation tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar software.
- Basic knowledge of programming, control logic, or HMI interfaces is desirable.
- Previous internship, social service, or academic project experience related to industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing, maintenance, process control, or continuous improvement is desirable.
- Participation in equipment integration, process analysis, or plant improvement projects is desirable.
- Intermediate English is desirable.
