Senior Account Executive – Employee Engagement & Corporate Communications

Edelman is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team in Mexico, with a strong focus on Employee Engagement and Internal Communications.

We’re looking for an integrated communications professional who understands how to turn business priorities into clear, compelling communications that connect with employees and other key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings solid experience developing and executing internal communications programs, combined with a broader understanding of Corporate Communications and PR. This person should be comfortable managing multiple workstreams, collaborating with different specialties and working directly with clients in a fast-paced agency environment.

What You’ll Do

- Support the development and execution of employee engagement and internal communications strategies and campaigns.
- Translate business priorities, organizational changes and complex information into relevant and engaging communications for employees.
- Develop content across internal channels and formats, including newsletters, leadership communications, emails, presentations, talking points, town halls, intranet content and campaign materials.
- Support corporate communications and PR initiatives, including messaging, media materials, executive communications and external content when required.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships,



becoming a reliable and trusted partner for assigned projects and workstreams.
- Own timelines, deliverables and project coordination, ensuring work is delivered with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with strategy, creative, design, digital, PR and other integrated teams to bring communications ideas to life.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations that go beyond execution, helping clients solve communications challenges and identify new opportunities.
- Support the development of presentations, proposals, reports and client-facing materials.
- Help coordinate junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

What We’re Looking For

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, employee engagement, internal communications or related fields, preferably within an agency or consulting environment.
- Strong experience in Internal Communications and/or Employee Engagement.
- Understanding of Corporate Communications and PR fundamentals, including messaging, storytelling, media relations and reputation.
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences, channels and formats.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Confidence working directly with clients and contributing to client conversations and recommendations.
- Advanced English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Strong PowerPoint skills and a good understanding of visual storytelling.




- Basic graphic design capabilities and familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Express or similar platforms. Professional graphic design expertise is not required, but strong visual judgment and the ability to create or adapt simple communications materials are important.
- A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Experience That Would Be a Plus

- Experience working with B2B organizations and/or technology clients.
- Exposure to Corporate Communications, Executive Communications, Employer Branding, Change Communications or Organizational Transformation.
- Experience working with regional or general teams and multinational clients.
- Agency experience and familiarity with integrated communications environments.
