MUST HAVE

REQUIREMENTS:

- 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Administration, or Mainframe Operations.
- Strong experience with Mainframe technologies such as CICS, IMS, DB2, Datacom, VSAM, RACF, JES2/JES3, SMF, WLM, and z/OSMF.
- Experience developing automation solutions using Python, Go, REXX, Assembler, CLIST, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of SRE concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Toil Reduction.




- Experience working in hybrid Mainframe and Cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, databases, high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Own the reliability, availability, and performance of integrated OCI and IBM Mainframe environments.
- Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets.
- Automate operational tasks and reduce manual effort.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
- Administer z/OS environments and support critical Mainframe services.
- Provide support for CA-ADECUADO and COBOL-based applications.
- Optimize batch processing, scheduling, and performance.
- Troubleshoot integrations between Mainframe and Cloud services.
- Support disaster recovery and high-availability initiatives.
- Promote a culture of reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
