As AI Automation Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap.

This is a builder role, not a research role.

You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them.

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work.

As AI Automation Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap.

This is a builder role, not a research role.

You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them.

You work directly with engineering and delivery leadership to take a documented roadmap of automation workflows and turn them into shipped, working systems.

This role is for someone who has already built things with LLMs and can show it.

What You Will Build Agentic workflows using Lang Chain,



Lang Graph or equivalent frameworks.

Integrations with Anthropic and Open AI APIs including tool use and function calling.

Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.

Automation pipelines connecting Word Press, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.

MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.

What You Bring 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.

Hands-on experience with Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Crew AI, Auto Gen or similar agent frameworks.

Proven API integration work with Open AI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).

Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.

English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.
