Senior Data Engineer

Location: Remote

Experience: 5+ years

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products.
- Develop ETL/ELT solutions using Databricks, Spark, and cloud-based technologies.
- Collaborate with Business, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data quality, monitoring, reliability, and performance across platforms.
- Support migration and modernization initiatives into Databricks and cloud-native environments.
- Create and optimize datasets for analytics, reporting, and risk management.




- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Data Engineering and large-scale data processing.
- Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Python.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms and storage technologies.
- Understanding of data modeling and analytics data structures.
- Experience with data quality, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with data formats such as Parquet, Avro, and ORC.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have
- Java application development experience.
- Previous experience in Risk, Financial Services, or Lending domains.
