POSITION SUMMARY

The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for prospecting and developing new vendors, as well as strengthening relationships with existing ones. Their primary responsibilities include attending commercial and technical requests, overseeing logistics door-door plans, and building valuable quotations following product guidelines. This role aims to close successful deals, strengthen commercial relationships, and contribute to the development of the commercial plan.

The position requires some experience in logistics, knowledge of Mexican regulations, and vendors. Additionally, negotiation, planning, teamwork, and effective communication skills are a plus for performing in high-pressure environments.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prospect for and develop new vendors, as well as strengthen relationships with existing ones.
- Thoroughly analyze client needs and develop customized commercial and technical offers and proposals.
- Build valuable relationships between the group's various offices.
- Negotiate and get competitive pricing

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- A background in Logistics, will be highly valued.
- An estimated 2-3 years of experience in the logistics sector. For less experience, the professional record will be assessed.
- Knowledge of the logistics market and Mexican legislation.
- Ability to evaluate technical bids from suppliers.
- Desirable knowledge of chartering contracts, bidding, and procurement.
- A client portfolio is a plus.
- Advanced English (other languages are desirable)
