1. What will you do?

As the Program Director in AI and Data Science, you will be part of the School of Engineering and Sciences, leading the bachelor’s degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. You will be responsible for ensuring academic quality, curricular relevance, and sustained enrollment growth, while ensuring that the program prepares professionals with a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, artificial intelligence, and data modeling, aligned with "Rumbo al 2030" and institutional accreditation standards (SACS).

2. How will you do it?

Your main responsibilities will include:

As a Program Director in AI and Data Science, you will be part of the School of Engineering and Sciences, leading the Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science and Artificial Intellience program to ensure academic quality, curricular relevance, and sustained enrollment growth. You will help ensure that the program prepares professionals with a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, artificial intelligence, and data modeling,



aligned with "Rumbo al 2030" and the institution’s accreditation standards (SACS).

2. How will you do it?

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Design, update, and monitor the curriculum of the Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (BI), ensuring its relevance in response to trends in the field and the evolving labor market.
- Work collaboratively with the Admissions, Attraction, and Communications teams at Santa Fe Campus to promote the program and strengthen its image and value proposition.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with organizations, industry partners, alumni, research centers, and academic partners to enrich the educational experience and enhance graduate employability.
- Manage academic processes related to students, including monitoring progress through the curriculum and providing guidance on concentrations, exchange programs, academic stays, elective courses, course validations, professional internships, and other academic experiences.
- Advise students on the requirements needed to graduate on time and as planned, and refer them to the appropriate support areas when necessary.
- Monitor key program indicators, including enrollment, retention/attrition,



employability, and student satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with institutional accreditation standards (SACS) and Tec’s academic policies.
- Strengthen the program’s engagement with industry, alumni, and technological innovation projects.

3. What do you need?

- A Ph.D. in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- A strong teaching and/or research track record in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience in academic leadership and management, including curriculum design or development, faculty coordination, monitoring of program indicators (enrollment, attrition, employability), and compliance with accreditation standards (SACS).
- Experience engaging with industry and/or participating in student projects and technological innovation initiatives is desirable.
