Tradeview Markets is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with hands-on experience building and supporting electronic trading systems. This role sits close to the execution stack and requires strong systems programming, concurrency, protocol integration and database skills. Candidates must be comfortable working on production trading infrastructure where latency, throughput, determinism and operational reliability matter.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain low-latency, high-throughput trading services and backend components using modern C++ and C#/.NET.
- Build and support connectivity to liquidity providers, trading venues and platforms using FIX Protocol and proprietary APIs.
- Work across market data, order routing, execution, bridge/aggregation and related real-time trading workflows.
- Develop multithreaded and concurrent components with a strong focus on thread safety, contention, memory ownership and predictable latency.
- Design and optimize database access and persistence for trading workloads, including schema design, indexing, SQL tuning and transaction handling.
- Troubleshoot production issues across application, protocol, network and database layers using profiling, logging and diagnostic tooling.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions, with emphasis on performance, reliability, maintainability and production operability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Expert-level C++ development skills, ideally with modern C++17/20, plus strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET platform.
- Strong database background with relational systems such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server, including data modeling, query optimization, indexing and transactional consistency.
- Hands-on FIX Protocol experience, including session management, sequence handling/recovery, market data, order flow and execution reports. Experience with QuickFIX/QuickFIX-n is a plus.
- Strong multithreading and concurrency fundamentals: synchronization, producer/consumer patterns, lock contention, race conditions, memory visibility and performance profiling.
- Financial markets background is mandatory. Direct experience in electronic trading, preferably FX/CFD, is strongly preferred.
- Practical understanding of liquidity-provider connectivity, trading bridges, price aggregation, routing, execution lifecycle, slippage, last-look behavior and A-book/B-book workflows.
- Solid TCP/IP and socket-level networking knowledge, plus experience debugging distributed or latency-sensitive production systems.
- Experience with MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and/or cTrader - including Manager/Server APIs, gateways, plugins or platform integrations - is a strong plus.
We offer competitive compensation, a work-from-home position, and a adaptable work environment with people from around the globe. Join our team and help build and support the core systems behind our trading infrastructure.
