Our team: Pearson’s Higher Education team in Mexico partners with universities to expand access to high-quality digital learning and help institutions create better outcomes for their students. Through our All Access partnerships, we work closely with academic and institutional leaders to make learning more accessible, measurable and impactful.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Specialist, Client Partner to help shape how Pearson builds, grows and strengthens institutional partnerships across Mexico. This is a sales-focused account management role for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, uncovering growth opportunities and turning customer value into sustainable commercial results.

In this role, you will become the main post-sale commercial partner for higher education institutions that have joined Pearson’s All Access model. You will work with faculty, academic leaders and institutional stakeholders to increase adoption, demonstrate value and identify opportunities to expand the partnership over time.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to operate at the intersection of education, customer success, account growth and strategic relationship management. You will use data, business insight and strong stakeholder engagement to help institutions get the most from their partnership with Pearson while contributing to retention, expansion and revenue growth.





As the first Account Management-style Client Partner role in LATAM, this position offers the chance to help build a new way of supporting and growing Pearson’s institutional partnerships in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build trusted relationships with faculty, academic leaders, administrators and other institutional stakeholders across a portfolio of All Access customers.
- Help institutions increase adoption and engagement across the courses included in their agreement, especially during key moments in the academic calendar.
- Use customer insights, usage data and stakeholder feedback to understand account health, identify risks and create clear action plans.
- Lead business reviews that show the value, outcomes and opportunities created through the partnership.
- Partner with Account Executives to support renewal conversations and identify opportunities for growth within existing institutional agreements.
- Spot opportunities to expand usage across additional departments, courses and users, while also recognizing broader strategic growth potential.
- Coordinate internal teams and resources to remove barriers, resolve issues and ensure customers receive value from their partnership with Pearson.
- Maintain clear and accurate account, opportunity and customer information in Pearson’s CRM systems.

Required skills and experience:

- Experience in sales,



strategic account management or customer success, ideally with exposure to retention, expansion, renewals or revenue growth.
- A commercially minded approach, with the ability to connect customer success, stakeholder needs and business opportunities.
- Confidence building relationships with different stakeholders, including faculty, academic leaders and institutional decision-makers.
- Good understanding of the selling process, including value positioning, opportunity development, objection handling and stakeholder influence.
- Analytical skills and the ability to translate customer data, usage trends and account insights into practical commercial actions.
- Strong project coordination skills and comfort working with multiple internal teams to deliver a better customer experience.
- Knowledge of the Mexican higher education environment, institutional decision-making and academic calendar cycles would be highly valuable.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or OneCRM, together with strong data literacy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Availability to travel within Mexico and across Hispanic America as needed to support institutional partnerships and customer engagement.
- A post-secondary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
