Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities Quality Management & ComplianceLead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems and procedures.Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and quality management systems such as ISO **** and IATF *****.Create and maintain quality documentation, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, SPC plans, and work instructions.Conduct internal, process, product, and supplier audits.Problem Solving & Corrective ActionsLead complex root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, and statistical methods.Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure and verify effectiveness.Analyze quality trends, warranty claims, customer complaints, and manufacturing defects to identify systemic issues.Customer QualityAct as the primary quality contact for customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions.Lead customer complaint investigations and response activities.Participate in customer audits, reviews, and business meetings.Ensure timely completion of customer-required quality documentation and reporting.Manufacturing & Process ImprovementMonitor process capability and product performance using SPC and other statistical tools.Lead continuous improvement projects focused on reducing defects, waste, and cost of poor quality.Support new product launches by leading APQP, PPAP, validation, and process qualification activities.Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to improve process performance.Supplier QualitySupport supplier qualification, development, and performance improvement initiatives.Lead investigations of supplier quality issues and implement corrective actions.Review supplier PPAP submissions and quality documentation.Leadership & MentoringProvide technical guidance and mentoring to Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians.Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement initiatives.Develop and track quality KPIs and present performance metrics to management.Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.5-8+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.Experience with customer and supplier quality management.Proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven decision making.Strong project management and leadership skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.Certified Lead Auditor (ISO ****/IATF *****).
