The Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between clients, business stakeholders, accounting teams, and technical resources, supporting financial services projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives. This role focuses on gathering and documenting business requirements, improving operational efficiency, analyzing data, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact between business users, clients, developers, and cross-functional teams.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to identify priorities and project objectives.
Coordinate information requests and support project execution across teams.

Process Improvement & Automation
Analyze workflows, identify operational gaps, and recommend process improvements.
Support process mapping, gap analysis, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
Assist with the implementation and monitoring of optimization efforts.

Documentation & Reporting
Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), SOPs, process maps, and project documentation.
Create business and technical reports to support decision-making and project tracking.
Ensure accurate documentation of requirements, processes, and compliance activities.

Data Analysis & Financial Projects
Analyze financial and operational data to support business initiatives.
Utilize SQL to extract and validate data, and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) to develop reports and dashboards.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Quality Assurance & Compliance




Support audit, compliance, and reporting activities.
Help implement quality assurance measures and ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Experiencia y requisitos
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Business Operations Analyst, or similar role.
Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
Experience working on financial services projects, banking, fintech, wealth management, or related financial industries.
Experience in process mapping, business process improvement, and process automation initiatives.
Basic to intermediate SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing data from databases.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
Experience creating BRDs, SOPs, process documentation, and technical requirements.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred
Experience within banking, financial services, fintech, investment management, or related sectors.
Experience working within PMO environments.
Knowledge of compliance, risk management, audit processes, and reporting.
Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent.
