Product engineer for Alternators and Starters is required to coordinate all Engineering Changes (ECRs) in Lerma.

The engineer will take an specific roles as ECM LEX (Engineering Change Management Local Expert) in Lerma plant with the main responsibility of processing ECRs (up to sts 40) in form and content.

The main tasks are: Support the initiator/change representative in processing the changes in aspects of quality, cost and time; Track all ECRs affecting Lerma plant since planning phase until implementation; Coordinate internal meetings with all cross funtional teams; Weekly participation in International Change meetings; SOP dates adaptation for ECRs according to stocks,



documentation and customer requirements; Support the change coordinator during implementation phase; Obtain approvals of integral and local ECRs at the location; Approve ECRs representing the location; Responsible of escalation process (local and globally) for critical ECRs; Local responsible for ECM procedures, guidelines, formats and general information as well as the local procedures updates; Representative for Customer Audits and certifications for change management topics; Tracking KPIs and implemnet actions to improve ECR´s process; Provide training of Engineering Change Management and ECM toolset.
