Solutions Architect, AWS Mexico Cross Industry
As a Solutions Architect II at Amazon, you will partner directly with customers to design and deliver technical solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes. This role puts you at the intersection of customer needs and technology innovation, where your recommendations shape how organizations leverage our platforms and services to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and accelerate growth.
Design end-to-end technical solutions for customers by understanding their business context, outcome priorities, and technology challenges, while applying sound judgment on trade-offs such as load distribution, data store choice, scaling strategy, and failover mechanisms.
Develop and deliver technical content including presentations, workshops, and written guidance that educates customers on best practices and incorporates lessons learned from real-world engagements.
You start your morning reviewing a customer's architecture proposal,



identifying areas where a different scaling strategy could improve reliability. By midday, you are on a call with a customer's engineering team, whiteboarding a solution that addresses their data migration challenges. We are building toward a future where every customer interaction results in reusable patterns that raise the bar for solution quality across the organization. 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
~4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
