Panel Rey is looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Operations team and lead the technical execution of major industrial CAPEX, expansion, modernization, and startup projects .
Reporting directly to the Manager of Projects, Engineering & Geology , this is a high-impact leadership role responsible for bringing together multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.

What you’ll lead:
- Multidisciplinary Engineering: Lead the Civil, Mechanical, and Energy & Control Engineering teams.
- End-to-End Project Execution: Drive engineering activities from conceptual design and planning through construction, commissioning, and plant startup.
- CAPEX & Technical Excellence: Ensure projects meet technical, financial, schedule, quality, and performance objectives.
- Compliance & Safety: Oversee regulatory, environmental, permitting, and industrial safety requirements throughout project execution.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety,



and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and operational readiness.

What we’re looking for:
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or a related discipline. An MBA or Master’s in Project Management is a plus.
- Strong industrial experience in engineering design, CAPEX execution, commissioning, and facility modernization.
- Experience working with regulatory, environmental, and industrial safety standards .
- Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, SAP/Oracle, OPUS, Neodata, and AutoCAD .
- Certifications in Project Management, Industrial Safety, or Lean Manufacturing are a plus.
- Business-fluent English and the ability to work in an on-site environment with frequent travel across Mexico, Latin America, and the U.S.
- Valid U.S. visa and passport required.
