A Production Supervisor 1 at our manufacturing facility, will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that all operations are running smoothly. They will be expected to lead a team of production workers, manage schedules, and ensure that all safety protocols are being followed. Their ultimate goal will be to ensure that our production targets are met while maintaining the highest level of quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in a supervisory or management role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
* Experience with Six Sigma methodologies
* Experience in a unionized environment
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage a team of production workers to ensure that all production targets are met
* Develop and implement production schedules to optimize efficiency and productivity
* Ensure that all safety protocols are being followed and that the work environment is safe for all employees
* Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process
* Maintain accurate production records and reports
Skills:
As Production Supervisor I will need to have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage your team and ensure that all production targets are met. They will also need to have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to troubleshoot any issues that arise. Additionally, experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies would be beneficial in this role. Finally, they will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of quality.
