The role will support the Global Procurement leadership in finding, contracting, and developing projects with Timber Investment Management Organizations (TIMO's), Timberland Real-Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Plantation Management Companies for the competitive supply of timber into sawmills.
The role will be supporting the project management of a forestry and industrial project in Tabasco Mexico
Advanced level of English mandatory
Bachelor's or master's degree in forestry
Supplier identification, mapping, qualification, and evaluation in forestry markets.
Leadership and support of global sustainability and forestry initiatives (Blue Forest Program).
Strategic Planning and Corporate Governance in international environments.
Map the landscape of TIMO's, REITs and Plantation Management Companies
Forest management projects
General cross-functional project management and stakeholder collaboration.
Financial analysis, business case development, and project valuation.
Feasibility studies, supplier assessments, and risk analysis.




Supply chain risk mitigation and resilience planning.
Alignment of projects with ESG frameworks and 2030 Sustainability Goals.
Market analysis and strategic development for Latin American operations.
Collaboration with global and regional teams to drive business objectives.
Budget management and alignment with corporate financial targets.
Logistics analysis and operational efficiency enhancement across forestry regions.
Delivers timber-related projects identified by the global office on time
Forestry and sawmilling project management
Executive-level relationship management and positioning, communicating at the regional and global level.
Ability to manage ambiguity and handle complexity and interact at a senior level.
Strong business acumen to evaluate new opportunities and structure and negotiate deals from a regional perspective.
Mandatory experience with TIMO discussions with suppliers, negotiate price & payment term
