- Perform R&D; testing according to national, American, or European standards
- Perform thermal performance, sound, vibration, electrical, airflow, and air pressure testing
- Use measurement instruments and elaborate testing reports
- Delegate activities such as sensor mounting, unit assembly, and prototype preparation
- Supervise electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic installations
- Install units and prototypes in the laboratory
- Position sensors according to each test
- Maintain sensor calibration and updated calibration certificates
- Collaborate with Quality to schedule sensor calibration
- Conduct research on thermo-fluid topics, natural and artificial refrigerants, and technologies including Innovation, IoT, Industry 4.0, and AI
- Support the Innovation and Concept Validation Department with thermo-fluid and refrigeration calculations and activities
- Support the Testing and Validation Department in preparing and executing performance and sound tests and measurements
- Ensure laboratory technicians work safely and stop operations when necessary




- Identify and report ergonomic risks, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts to EHS, the R&D; Manager, and the Plant Manager
- Ensure personnel properly and completely use PPE

Requirements
- Experience in R&D; testing, including thermal performance, sound, vibration, electrical, airflow, and air pressure testing
- Knowledge of national, American, or European standards
- Experience using measurement instruments such as thermometers, flow meters, anemometers, DP meters, sound meters, and verniers
- Ability to elaborate testing reports
- Ability to delegate activities to Testing Laboratory Leaders
- Ability to supervise electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic installations
- Experience mounting, testing, and assembling units and prototypes
- Knowledge of sensor positioning for testing
- Ability to maintain sensor calibration and calibration certificates
- Ability to research thermo-fluid topics, refrigerants, new technologies, I
