What does a Freelance Online Portuguese Teacher do at Busuu?

*As a Freelance Online Portuguese Teacher at Busuu, you’ll play a key role in helping students learn Portuguese effectively and confidently. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will likely include:*
- *Planning, preparing, and teaching online lessons (45 minutes each)* *for corporate clients.*




- *1:1 Lessons:* *Deliver private lessons that include both language teaching and* *personalised coaching* *- conducting needs analyses, assessing levels, creating bespoke learning paths, checking progress during lesson time, and setting clear goals.*

*What we’re looking for in a Freelance Online Language Teacher:*
- *C2 Level of Portuguese*
- *Valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degrees*
- *Experience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning support*
- *Fluency in additional languages:*
- *B1 or above in English*
- *Bonus:* *Speaking more than two languages*
- *Comfortable teaching: presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, multicultural communication, etc.*
- *Excellent communication skills to engage and teach students*
- *High-Speed Internet, Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and camera*
- *Must comply with local freelance/contractor regulations*
