Oversees local,



regional or global customs and or trade compliance processes and operations to ensure adherence to regulations including cost mitigation opportunities. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient trade compliance and customs processes., that are embedded into supply chain initiatives on a general scale. Develops strategic policies to enable fair trade and mitigate associated risks in trade compliance and customs processes.
- Monitors changes in trade laws to ensure compliance and adapts strategies.
- Provides training and guidance to teams on trade and customs regulations, and directs/leads a team of trade compliance and customs professionals.
- Conducts audits to identify areas for improvement in trade compliance. Manages relationships with customs and trade partners, provides governance, risk assessment, and standardization of trade and customs processes.
