Identify operational and technical training needs for welding processes across the plant
Design and execute tailored training plans based on operational indicators and shop-floor needs
Define and manage the welder skills matrix, competency levels, and pay tiers according to technical capabilities
Prepare and manage documentation and technical evidence required for welding process certifications
Coordinate and supervise welder test coupons and equipment testing for certification issuance and renewals
Diagnose and resolve technical issues in welding and brazing operations
Collaborate with the Quality Department to reduce or eliminate internal and external cost of quality
Perform technical inspections and ensure adherence to international standards and codes
Identify and implement welding process improvements to increase productivity and product quality while prioritizing workplace safety
Conduct technical feasibility and engineering studies for product enhancements
Identify, document, and justify VAVE / Cost Out projects resulting from changes in components, materials, or process parameters
Collaborate with global cross-functional engineering teams to drive process standardization and share best practices across international sites
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgy, Chemical, Electrical, or related field)
Conversational / Fluent English required for daily collaboration with integral engineering teams and international manufacturing sites




Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Welding & Brazing Specialist or Engineer
Experience with GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and brazing
Experience within the manufacturing or metalworking industry
HVAC industry experience highly preferred
Strong proficiency in AWS, ASME, ISO, and AISI international codes and standards
Solid experience in Visual Testing (VT) and Non-Destructive Testing methods (UT, PT, MT, RT)
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) status strongly preferred
Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in welding processes, including the ability to design and implement training programs, manage welder competency levels, and ensure compliance with international standards.
