- Work with internal component D&R; engineers from both Underbody Systems Engineering and Electrified Powertrain Engineering to lead overall internal systems design - Systems design rule assessments - System cooling/lubrication design - GVWR, VMAX, Torque limit, duty cycle and durability assessments - Requirements cascade to component engineers, sub system design specification management - Layout and stack up sign off - Overall component and system test alignment - Weight management/optimization - Work with vehicle program team to ensure proper execution of external interfaces - Vehicle package signoff - Vehicle attribute interface - As installed system lead - Interface with internal manufacturing team (including PTME and VO) Requirements - BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree (MS preferred) - 4+ yrs of experience managing /delivering powertrain programs through launch - Proactive self starter that can handle multiple assignments at a time - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self motivates to deliver results with minimal direction - Desire to lead cross functional working teams - Strong problem solving skills - Excellent writing, speaking, interpersonal skills and presentation - MBSE (model based systems engineering)
