Are you an engineering student passionate about optimization, automation, and project management? At SKF, we are looking for a motivated and proactive Engineering Projects & Applications Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
This internship is designed to help you strengthen your technical knowledge while working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to real business operations.
What You'll Do
- Assist with project tracking: Monitor milestones, timelines, and deliverables for key engineering and continuous improvement projects.
- Support application development: Participate in the creation, testing, or optimization of internal tools and digital applications.
- Update technical designs: Utilize AutoCAD or similar software to modify layouts, blueprints, or technical documentation as needed.
- Analyze operational data: Process project metrics and key performance indicators to generate reports for decision-making.
- Participate in continuous improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current processes and propose structured engineering solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree: Industrial, Mechanical,
Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- University enrollment: Currently enrolled in university (7th semester or above).
- Technical proficiency: Desirable knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar CAD software).
- Advanced Excel skills: Mastery of formulas, data analysis, and Pivot Tables.
- Language skills: Intermediate English
- Core competencies: Strong analytical, structural thinking, and organization skills.
- Professional traits: Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and high attention to detail.
- Institutional requirement: Mandatory university medical insurance (Protegido Facultativo) throughout the entire project.
- Availability: Ability to complete a 1-year part-time, on-site internship.
- Career vision: Interest in developing a long-term career in an international manufacturing company.
