Role Summary
Release Engineer - Job Description
Support Enterprise Bundled Releases (EBR) and OFF‑EBR releases by coordinating deployments, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, helping in release documentation, executing deployment activities, and working with development, QA, environment, and operations teams to ensure successful releases.
Key Responsibilities
Support release planning, deployment preparation, and release execution activities.
Execute and monitor application deployments across Non‑Production and Production environments.
Prepare and maintain deployment runbooks, implementation plans, and release documentation.
Support rollback and post-release validation activities.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket and GitHub.
Track release activities, issues, risks, and dependencies through Jira and CRR processes.
Coordinate with cross functional teams during release execution.
Required Skills
Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Bitbucket, YAML Pipelines.
Terraform,
Shell/PowerShell scripting, Python (preferred), AWS deployment concepts.
Communication & Behavioral Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support critical release windows.
Proactive issue identification and escalation mindset.
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Application Support, or Deployment Management.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and deployment activities.
Exposure to Production and Non‑Production release support.
English level: Advanced. REMOTE This position is remote. They can be from all Mexico. Candidates hired will work on Canada Time zone. There is a posibility of shfts in the future. To be confirm.
