Job Description

Develop and release of the product engineering information for manufacturing assuring the fulfillment of the design intent.

Responsibilities
- Get, analyze and provide technical information required for Engineering changes requested by the Customer, Manufacturing or Engineering.
- Analyze Engineering change proposals and prepare design change notification to the team.




- Leader to control the Engineering changes and design reviews.
- Develop, control and provide harness prints, bill of materials, cut sheets, labor, visual aids, etc.
- Request updates to the following data bases : MFG-Pro/QAD, SEM, Capital H library.
- Load technical information in the Manufacturing Systems : MFG-Pro/QAD, UCS, LMI, etc.
- Assure the correct information in the bill of materials ( BOM ) according with the engineering changes and the adjustments due to the Tear Down results.
- Use the knowledge and experience to propose design improvements and cost reduction during harness manufacturing.
- Create, submit and follow up cost studies in CMTS.
- Get and release new component information required for Engineering changes.
- Request and analyze Manufacturing specifications.
- Fulfills Lear’s Environmental and Quality Policies and Procedures.
