commercial contracts, regulatory matters, project development, and corporate transactions

senior management and key energy-sector stakeholders and regulators
, providing practical and strategic legal advice throughout the development, negotiation, and execution of energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, negotiate, and execute
energy-sector agreements
in both Spanish and English, including PPAs, LTSAs, TSAs, structured financing agreements, trusts, and other strategic contracts. Conduct negotiations using
specialized legal and technical English
,



adapting contractual provisions to international standards and the expectations of general counterparties. Support the design and implementation of
complex and innovative legal processes
in coordination with key Mexican energy-sector authorities and institutions, including CNE, SENER, CENACE, and CFE. Provide legal coordination for
public tenders, open competitions, direct awards, and unsolicited proposals
involving: - Electric power infrastructure and public works -Coal supply -Advanced energy metering -Deployment of mobile power generation turbines Coordinate regulatory and legal matters from the
contract planning stage through project commissioning
, particularly for power generation projects involving renewable and clean energy. Perform and coordinate
legal due diligence
for the acquisition of, or investment in, strategic projects, identifying and assessing corporate, financial, tax, real estate, regulatory, and compliance risks. Prepare
high-level legal opinions, executive summaries, risk ma
